This Anthurium is grown from 'Black Sweet' seeds that were self-pollinated. The leaves feature an elongated heart shape, with some exhibiting a flat sinus and a generally long profile. Emergent leaves appear dark brown and gradually transition into a deep, dark green as they mature. These seedlings are cultivated and grown directly in our private greenhouse in Bogor, Indonesia. They are available in large quantities to accommodate both retail and wholesale orders.

Care Guide

• Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
• Watering: Water thoroughly when the top 1-2 inches of the potting mix feel dry. Anthuriums prefer to be consistently moist but not waterlogged. Ensure excellent drainage.
• Humidity: Requires high humidity, ideally between 60-80%. Use a humidifier, pebble tray, or group with other plants to increase ambient moisture.
• Soil: Plant in a chunky, well-aerating aroid mix. A combination of orchid bark, perlite, coco coir, and charcoal is ideal for providing the necessary airflow to the roots.
• Temperature: Prefers warm and stable temperatures, between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Protect from cold drafts.
• Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half-strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
